Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet Rankings for Top 150 Players
Highlight Fantasy Football Player Ranking Information:
No. 7: Chris Johnson’s Fantasy Football Info
Position: Running back
Right now there are only two major knocks on Titans runner Chris Johnson. Will Chris be able to duplicate his success from last year and two how many touchdowns will he lose to runner LenDale White again this year. I personally believe the Titans will fall back to lets say a 9-7 season this year. Everything went their way last year and usually that doesn’t happen twice.
For this season I see Chris as a top eight runner in fantasy football. In the future he may be the No.1 pick for awhile as he does have great tools.
No. 22: Kurt Warner’s Fantasy Football Info
The Cardinals and Kurt Warner should be on the attack again in 2009. With a solid rookie runner coming on to the team in first round pick Chris “Beanie” Wells. The Cardinals now will have a more balanced attack. Don’t worry about Kurt and his receivers as they are still a very heavy pass first run second team.
Look to draft Kurt in your fantasy football draft around the third or fourth round. He will probably go around that time in most fantasy football formats this coming year.
No. 43: Roy Williams Fantasy Football Info
Position: Wide Receiver
Look for Roy Williams to put together 1,100 yards and 8 touchdowns in his first full season with the Cowboys. Dallas should run the ball early and often with Felix Jones and Marion Barber as they suck defenders in to stop the run. Then Tony Romo will use play action and drop bombs to Roy down the field. This is how the Cowboys did it back in 2007 and I believe they will get back to business in 2009. Roy should be a sixth round pick in this years fantasy draft. If Roy is successful this season, then I believe the Cowboys will win their division this year. No. 59: Dallas Clark’s Fantasy Football Info Team: Colts Position: Tight End Count on Dallas Clark for at least 75 catches for 800 yards and 7 touchdowns this season. While the Colts are going through change in the coaching staff, Clark is to valuable to be forgotten about. Look to draft Clark in the mid rounds of your fantasy draft. He may not be the best fantasy tight end but he is one of the most reliable. No. 82: Vikings Fantasy Football Info Team: Vikings Position: Defense/Special Teams As long as Pat and Kevin Williams are on the field the Vikings have one of the best defenses against the run in football. Not to also add they set the table for sacks by the rest of the defense. As far as where you should take this defense in your draft, that will depend on your scoring structure in your league. Many leagues have different scoring structures and some it will be better to grab this defense as high as the 8th round and some as low as the 14th. But at the end of the day in just about every format they are a top five defense. Hopefully these two big boys will play the entire season. If we all find out they will play the entire year then this defense could be the best in fantasy football for 2009. No. 119: Josh Brown’s Fantasy Football Info Team: Rams Position: Kicker I may be going out on a limb here but I do believe Josh Brown is the third best fantasy kicker this year. With an improved offensive line the Rams should stay in games longer. They should also be able to move the ball into field goal range to give Brown opportunity’s. Look to take Josh in the late rounds of your fantasy football draft. No. 143: Rashard Mendenhall’s Fantasy Football Info Team: Steelers Position: Running Back Couple star talent and Willie Parker’s knee problems together and look for Rashard Mendenhall to carry more and more of the load in the offense, as the season goes a long. To start the season Mendenhall probably is not going to be worth drafting in fantasy. But if Willie goes down then the Steelers will give this kid every chance to succeed and will be very fantasy relevant.
