San Diego Chargers v Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals played their starting lineup early in the game while the Broncos only played a handful of starters in this one. While Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald did hook up on a nice 36 yard reception, there was not much else to report about the starters.

Chris “Beanie” Wells Can Catch

Last week rookie running back Chris “Beanie Wells played for first time as the Cardinals took on the Packers. In that game Wells had two touchdown runs and the first one was a very impressive 20 yard scamper.

This week the big running back showed that he has some hands as he had one catch for 12 yards on the night.

Wells will probably not begin the season as the Cardinals starting running back but by the middle of the year he should take over. Look for this running back to be a beast down the stretch.

Broncos Report

The biggest news from the Broncos of late has taken place off the field as the team is in talks with the Jets to trade Brandon Marshall. Only time will tell if this deal will get done but I think it very well may happen in the next few days.

The Broncos as a team seem to be tired of Marshall’s antics and his teammates don’t trust him right now.

Kansas City Chiefs v Denver Broncos

If a deal should get done than Marshall’s fantasy value will be stronger as he is in a bad situation at this time.
