Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins

This week the Dolphins played their starting group and the Saints rested most of their starters. I was happy to see the Dolphins offense get some work in as they did not have a great showing last week in Tampa Bay.

Davone Bess Catches Five

I’ve been talking all summer about the Dolphins two young starting receivers in Davone Bess and Ted Ginn Jr. Tonight Bess showed us why he could be a PPR and Standard league play sleeper for fantasy football.

I like Bess’s value most in Point Per Reception leagues (PPR) because he is the type of guy that can really rack up the catches every week. Last season at the end of the year when Bess received an opportunity to start, he was catching the ball left and right.

Tonight he had five catches for 39 yards and I do believe he will make for a nice addition to your fantasy football team.

Lynell Hamilton Who?

The Saints just seem to have an endless supply of running backs and Lynell Hamilton is just the next in line of runners on this team. I’m not sure he will make the team this year but he has flashed good skills in the past two weeks.

New Orleans Saints v Cincinnati Bengals
Last week Hamilton had 95 yards rushing on 16 carries and tonight he had another good game as well. What I liked most from his game tonight is that he flashed his receiving abilities with 6 catches for 88 yards receiving.

If this kid doesn’t make the team someone will surly grab this runner and stash him on their team this week off waivers.
