Philadelphia Eagles v New York Jets

The Jets and Eagles wound down their preseasons as they matched up in the final game for each teams schedule. For a game that should have been quite boring, we did see some exciting plays from the quarterbacks early on.

Mark Sanchez Perfect Drive

On the one drive Mark Sanchez had, it was perfect as he went 5 for 5 passing for 67 yards, capping the drive off with a 21 yard touchdown pass to Jerricho Cotchery.

One player besides Cotchery I was happy to see Sanchez hookup with was tight end Dustin Keller. On the drive Keller had three catches for 44 yards and I do believe this young tight end is in line for a good season.

Brandon Marshall a Jet?

Talk has been swirling in the past day that the Broncos and Jets are in trade talks for receiver Brandon Marshell.

If the Jets can land Marshall on to the team it will enhance this teams chances to make it to the post season. More importantly than just that, it will give Sanchez a legit No.1 receiver for years to come.

We should know if this deal gets done in the next weeks time.

Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy Score Early

LeSean McCoy and quarterback Michael Vick both scored early in the game on running plays. Vick struggled in the passing game after his touchdown run as he still looks a bit rusty, after his long layoff.

It looks like Vick will be eligible to comeback to the team as soon as week three of the regular season. Hopefully everything goes well and Vick can get back to regular season football play soon.
