Jets vs Titans: Mark Sanchez is Playing Great | NFL Player Rankings

Tennessee Titans v New York Jets

This was a game of high importance to the Tennessee Titans as they were still looking for their first win. Today, Jets‘ rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez had other plans as he had three touchdowns and led the Jets to a 24-17 win.

Mark Sanchez Rookie of the Year?

With this win, Sanchez became the first rookie quarterback to ever start a season and win his first three games. For the game, he was only 17 of 30 passing for 171 yards, but he did have two passing touchdowns.

Early in the game Sanchez also had a 14 yard touchdown run as he pounded his way into the end zone.

This steady play means, No.1 receiver Jerricho Cotchery is now becoming a fantasy football starting receiver once again. For the game, Cotchery had 8 catches for 108 yards and a touchdown catch.

Look for Cotchery to be a steady option moving forward. The Jets will still be a run first offense, but Sanchez is playing well enough for Cotchery to produce.

Chris Johnson has Good Game

Some fantasy football experts were suggesting fantasy owners bench Chris Johnson because he had a hard matchup this week. This is partly because Johnson had a poor game against the Steelers week one.

For the game Johnson had 22 carries for 97 yards rushing and over 100 total yards from scrimmage.

This runner should start every week on your fantasy football team.
