Packers vs Bears: Devin Hester Scores | Player Rankings

Chicago Bears v Green Bay Packers

The Bears and Packers matched up in a slugfest as both teams duked it out on Sunday Night Football. In the end, the Packers pulled away on a 50 yard Greg Jennings touchdown, to win the game.

Jay Cutler Picked Four Times

The Bears’ star quarterback Jay Cutler started the preseason tough and did the same tonight in his regular season debut. With Cutler throwing four picks and looking sloppy at times, I wouldn’t recommend you start him in your fantasy football league.

One player I would recommend is No.1. Receiver Devin Hester. This one time corner back is starting to look like a receiver and had 4 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Next week Hester’s player the Steelers but remember they have a new starting corner and safety Troy Polamalu won’t be playing. Look for the Bears to take shots down field against the Steelers defense.

Brian Urlacher is Done for the Season

Unfortunately, for the Bears’ defense they lost their captain in Brian Urlacher for the year. Urlacher dislocated his wrist and will need surgery.

Chicago Bears v Green Bay Packers

This is a big blow to this teams fantasy football value. At this time, I don’t see the Bears’ defense as anything more than a back up.

Packers Win Close One

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was pressured all game until the end. On his last two throws of the night, he found Greg Jennings for a touchdown and two point conversion. This was enough for the team to win, but Rodgers will need to be more productive going forward.

Running back Ryan Grant ran the ball very well and looks primed to be a fantasy stud in 2009. Start this running back every week.
