Broncos- Chargers: Eddie Royal had 2 Touchdowns | NFL Player Rankings

The Broncos came into this game looking forward to putting the Chargers’ way behind them in the standings with a win. In the end, the Broncos put the smack down on the Chargers and are now way ahead in the AFC West standings.

Eddie Royal Scores Twice

I don’t believe Eddie Royal had one catch on the night, but he did have a kickoff and punt return for touchdowns. These touchdowns were huge as it set the tone against the Chargers for the rest of the game.

In the second half the Broncos offense came out and took care of business as tight end Tony Scheffler had over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Once the Broncos took a good lead the defense and Elvis Dumervil put the game away. The big surprise about this defense is their ability to consistently generate a pass rush and there never quite attitude.

Now that the Broncos are 6-0, they have a great opportunity to put the division away before we even reach December.

Chargers Need Changes

The Chargers are now 3-2, and they are just not that great of a team right now. This group seems like they need a new head coach that brings some fire in his coaching attitude.

Norv Turner has never been a great head coach, and I don’t believe he will be the coach in San Diego after this season.
