Chiefs- Redskins: Dwayne Bowe Leads Chiefs to Win | NFL Player Rankings

Kansas City Chiefs v Washington Redskins

The Chiefs didn’t have a win coming into their week six standoff with the Redskins, but they’ve played hard of late. In the end Dwayne Bowe would help lead his team to a win over the Redskins team.

Dwayne Leads Win

The Chiefs have struggled on offense all season long but when Bowe has been healthy he has produced for fantasy football owners. This talented receiver had six catches for over 100 yards on the day.

He didn’t find the end zone but did help set up four field goals made by rookie kicker Ryan Succop. Succop was the final pick at the NFL draft this past year and has done a good job.

Redskins vs. Chiefs

Because he was the last pick the NFL gives that player the title Mr. Irrelevant. Well, in this game Succop was anything but irrelevant as he helped his team win.

To the Chiefs credit they have been fighting for a win and hard of late. Last week they took the Cowboys into over time and almost beat them.

Even at the start of the year they put up a good fight against the Ravens in Baltimore.

I would expect this team to continue their hard fighting ways going into the future.

Jim Zorn Loses Calling Plays

Bingo

Sometimes it’s better to be fired as a head coach than to be out right humiliated. Head coach Jim Zorn has now lost his play calling duties to new offensive coordinator Sherman Lewis. Lewis has been out of football for the past 5 years.

What has Lewis been doing in that time you ask? Well, he’s been an avid Bingo player at his local Bingo hall in town.

This has to be the most embarrassing thing for a coach to go through. If I were Zorn, I would ask for my release.
