Saints- Dolphins: Drew Brees Leads Wild Come Back | NFL Player Rankings
Oct 26th, 2009 | By Fantasy Info | Category: AFC East, Miami Dolphins, NFC South, NFL, New Orleans SaintsAfter the first half of this game, it looked like the Saints were going to lose their first game to the Miami Dolphins. At the end of the day Drew Brees lead his team back to a big win as the team has now moved to 6 and 0.
Ricky Williams has Life
This past week on our weekly waiver wire I suggested that fantasy football owners pick Ricky Williams up off of waivers. Williams has produced good fantasy points weekly this season, and today he blew up for a big day.
For the game Williams had three touchdowns and 80 yards rushing on only nine carries. This season Williams has taken advantage of Ronnie Browns success and is running with fresh legs.
With Brown wearing out defenses, Williams has the opportunity to run against defenses that are already tired.
Expect Williams to continue to be a good fantasy football play moving forward.
Drew Brees Leads Come Back
Brees led his team back to another win this week as it looked like they were going to lose for sure. One of the big reasons for the Saints successful comeback was No. 1 receiver Marques Colston and his strong play.
For the game Colston had five receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown in the second half.
With the Falcons losing this week to the Cowboys, the Saints now have a two game lead in the NFC Southern division.
Next week the Saints and Falcons face off in a very big game as these are the only winning teams in the division.
