Cowboys- Redskins: Ladell Betts Tears MCL in Loss | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Nov 22nd, 2009 | By Fantasy Info | Category: Dallas Cowboys, NFC East, NFL, Washington Redskins

    Cowboys vs. Redskins

The Redskins gave the Cowboys just about everything they could handle but in the end Tony Romo found a way to win the game. This was a disappointing performance by the Cowboys but their defense kept them in the game all day long.

    Where’s the Offense?

The Cowboys struggled to move the ball and only made their way into the red zone, I believe, one time. That one trip inside the twenty produced a touchdown pass from Romo to Patrick Crayton.

If the Cowboys are going to make it to the playoffs this season, they will need to continue to find ways to win games like this one. No doubt this team has a very capable offense but there are going to be stretches when they will struggle.

Hopefully, the team’s defense can continue their strong play and hold opponents out of the end zone. If it wasn’t for their resilient play Dallas would have lost this game.

    Ladell Betts Tear’s his MCL

The Redskins suffered another blow to the running game when Ladell Betts tore his mcl in his knee, early in the game. This was a big blow to fantasy football owners that had success with Betts last week.

    Washington Redskins v Dallas Cowboys

Look for the Redskins to continue to use Rock Cartwright at starting tailback for now, and they should sign someone this week.

Clinton Portis has already been declared out for next week and may not play again this season.
