Eagles- Giants: Donovan McNabb Leads Blowout Win | NFL Player Rankings
Nov 2nd, 2009 | By Fantasy Info | Category: NFC East, NFL, New York Giants, Philadelphia EaglesYou wouldn’t of known this was a game between two teams that are bitter rivals by the way the scoreboard looked. In this game, the Eagles put the beat down on the Giants early and often as they torched them in a blowout.
Donovan McNabb has Great Game
The Eagles pro bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb came out firing as he torched the Giants secondary for three touchdowns on the day.
McNabb has been helped by emerging stars in receiver DeSean Jackson and tight end Brent Celek. Both pass catchers are having fabulous seasons and should be started every week.
Another receiver that is coming on of late is rookie Jeremy Maclin. Maclin may not be an every week starter, but he will have games like this week where he posts a big touchdown score.
All these weapons give McNabb the tools he needs to be an explosive fantasy football quarterback for your team.
Look for the Eagles to be the front runners for the division title as they make a strong run for a Super Bowl appearance.
Giants Need to Turn Things Around
New York has dropped their last three games in a row, and it looks like they could drop three more. Eli Manning is known for mid season failures and one has to wonder if his foot injury is more of a problem than the Giants are leading us to believe it is.
Right now, the Giants need to get back to basics and get their running game going.
They also need their defense to start producing at a dominant level we have come accustomed to see them play at.
In the end, I would continue to start your Giant players for now and hope they turn it around soon.
