Giants- Falcons: Jason Snelling Scores Twice | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Nov 22nd, 2009 | By Sean Douglas | Category: Atlanta Falcons, NFC East, NFC South, NFL, New York Giants

Atlanta Falcons v New York Giants

The Giants needed to end their four game slide and in this contest they did just that with an overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Manning Leads the Charge

I thought the Giants would lean on their running game in this contest, but it seems that this team is destine to throw.

Giants vs. Falcons

Neither Brandon Jacobs or Ahmad Bradshaw ran over 40 yards in this game as Manning threw the football early and often.

Manning compiled 384 yards passing and three touchdowns in the game. While the Giants won this game I can’t help but think they will miss the playoff if they don’t start running soon.

Snelling Scores Twice

With Michael Turner out of the lineup against the Giants, backup Jason Snelling took on the starting duties. For the game Snelling carried the football 25 times for 76 yards rushing and two touchdown scores.

Look for Snelling to start once again if Turner is out next week against the Buccaneers. Snelling would be an even better start in that game because the Buccaneers defense isn’t as stout as the Giants.
