Raiders- Bengals: Bernard Scott Has Good Game in Loss | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders

The Bengals were fresh off back to back victories against the Ravens and Steelers and one would have believed they would win this game. Until the final minute of the game, the Bengals led this contest the entire way.

Unfortunately, the defense gave up a last minute touchdown and then Andre Caldwell turned the ball over on the kickoff. This set the stage for the Raiders to kick a game winning field goal and win the game.

Bernard Scott Plays Well

With Cedric Benson out for the game, rookie running back Bernard Scott got the start. For the game Scott ran for over 100 yards and had over 150 total yards.

This was a strong performance, and it could lead to another start if Benson is unable to play next week against the Browns. Look for Scott to have a continued role in the running game for the rest of the season.

Bruce Gradkowski is Making a Difference

The Raiders finally benched JaMarcus Russell and went with Bruce Gradkowski from the beginning of the game. Gradkowski seemed to have a better effect on this offense, and they played decent football.

The stats won’t blow you away at the end of the day but in the end the Raiders were victorious. Look for Gradkowski to get another start on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys.
