Bengals- Chiefs: Bengals Win Division | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
The Bengals finally won their tenth game of the season and have now won the AFC Central Division for the first time since 2005. While the Bengals did play the dysfunctional Chiefs at home this game was closer than one might have thought.
Finding a Way to Win
The Bengals won this game on 133 rushing yards for Cedric Benson and two touchdown passes from Carson Palmer. On the touchdown passes Palmer was able to find his two top targets in Chad Ochocinco and Laveranues Coles.
The only thing left for the Bengals to play for is to be the number three seed if the Patriots should lose to the Texans. Since the Bengals play on Sunday Night football they will already know if the Patriots won or lost.
Expect the Bengals to rest their star players in this game if they should, in fact, have nothing to play for. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if they rest some of their key players, even if they have a chance to be the third seed.
Jamaal Charles Runs for Over 100 Yards Again
The Chiefs have themselves, a new starting tailback and his name is Jamaal Charles. This kid has had a great end to the season as he ran for another 100 yard game against a tough opponent on the road.
Expect Charles to be the Chiefs opening day starting tailback next year as he makes for a solid late number two runner or early flex play runner to have on your fantasy football team.
Right now for Charles to be a strong number two fantasy back we need to see the Chiefs improve as a team, and we need to see if Charles can be productive at the start of the season all the way through.
