Buccaneers- Saints: Josh Freeman and Bucs Shock Saints | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
Everybody and their mama expected the Saints to bounce back this week and beat the Buccaneers at home. For most of the game, it looked like the Saints were going to do just that as they moved out to a lead and were playing solid defense in the first half.
Unfortunately for the Saints they lost on an overtime field goal and have now dropped their last two games in a row.
Josh Freeman Maturing
Out of Matthew Stafford, Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman, it is Freeman that has impressed me the most this season. Sure, Freeman hasn’t lit up the world since taking over in the middle of the season, but he’s played very well for a rookie.
It looks like this young rookie is going to be a player in the NFL and could help players like Antonio Bryant and Kellen Winslow have decent fantasy football value in 2010.
Watch out for this young quarterback next year as he is a player that has an ability to make plays to help his team.
Saints Flop at Home
The Saints may not end up with home field advantage in the NFC if they can’t beat the Panthers in Carolina next week. This team hasn’t been playing strong for almost the entire second half of the season.
If the Saints’ hope to get to the Super Bowl than they need to turn this thing around and start playing better games.
