Buccaneers- Seahawks: Josh Freeman Wins On Road | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
It’s important for a young quarterback and a team to learn how to win football games on the road. The Buccaneers and rookie quarterback Josh Freeman did just that as they beat the Seahawks 24 to 7.
Josh Freeman Impresses
Last week was a bad game for Josh Freeman against the Jets solid secondary. That poor performance was probably the only bad game I’ve seen from this young rookie this year.
In this game Freeman was much better as he was 16 of 26 passing for 205 yards and two touchdown passes. Not only did Freeman throw two touchdowns, but he also ran in a two point conversion as well.
Freeman will go through his growing pains next year, but I believe the Buccaneers have themselves a quarterback for the next ten years.
Not only is Freeman a very talented athlete, but he seems to have a good grasp of playing the quarterback position.
Seahawks Are Fading Away
If the Seahawks are trying to play of a top ten draft pick this coming April, they are doing a good job of heading that way in recent weeks. For the past two weeks, this team has been troubled by non playoff teams.
This loss, at home, against a team with only one win coming into the game, by such a large margin, was inexcusable. This team should be ashamed of giving up on their season, and I hope they play hard next week against the Packers, for pride sake.
Maybe the Seahawks should fire head coach Jim Mora if they can’t play hard.
