Denver Broncos v Indianapolis Colts

The Colts tried to give this game away and let the Broncos come back and win but the Broncos couldn’t get the ball in the end zone enough. In the process of trying to get back in the game, Kyle Orton completed 21 receptions to Brandon Marshall.

Brandon Marshall Breaks Record

The Broncos star receiver Brandon Marshall set an NFL record with 21 receptions in a single game. In the process of catching all those passes Marshall racked up 200 yards receiving and two touchdown catches.

Broncos' Marshall Escapes Colts Brackett

In the end, Marshall’s performance wasn’t enough to help his team win, but it was a huge game for fantasy football. Especially PPR fantasy football leagues that give one point per reception.

This was the kind of performance that helped many fantasy football teams win in the first week of fantasy playoffs.

It is clear to see that Marshall will be just fine in Denver with Orton at quarterback and will no doubt be a top ten fantasy receiver going into next year.

Dallas Clark Scores Three Times

For so many weeks the Colts have relied on Joseph Addai to score for them in the red zone. This week Addai didn’t score a touchdown as Peyton Manning threw four red zone touchdown passes.

Tight end Dallas Clark benefited for three of those touchdown passes and his final one put the game away.

This was a very strong performance not only for the Colts and their undefeated season but for fantasy football owners with Clark. The Colts tight end has had a terrific fantasy football season for fantasy owners and this game was just another strong performance.
