Packers – Bears: Ryan Grant Runs Wild | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
The Packers won for the fifth straight week in a row as the beat the Bears in Chicago 21 to 14. With this win, the Packers are now 9 and 4 and are in very good shape to make the playoffs this season.
Ryan Grant Steps Up
The Packers passing game wasn’t strong in this game, and they needed their running game to step up and lead the way. Ryan Grant started the party early with a first quarter touchdown from over 60 yards out.
For the game Grant ran for over 130 yards and two touchdown scores to help his team pick up another key win.
Now that the weather has changed around the country, NFL teams will look to their running game to produce more. This makes Grant a solid option for fantasy football going forward, even if he plays the Steelers next week.
Besides the Steelers have lost five games in a row and don’t deserve a lot of respect due to the teams they’ve been losing too.
Bears Play Hard in Loss
To the Bears’ credit, they played hard this week against their division rival Green Bay Packers. This game was much closer than many expected as they were winning 14 to 13 for a good amount of the game.
Unfortunately, Matt Forte was still very ineffective as he only rushed for 51 yards for the game. Most of his problems this week was because he just didn’t receive enough carries to make an impact with only twelve for the game.
This year has been a major bust season for fantasy football owners with Forte and today was just another reminder of why.
