Raiders- Steelers: Bruce Gradkowski Leads the Way | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

This was supposed to be the game the Steelers got Ben Roethlisberger back and picked up an easy victory against the Raiders. For just about the entire game the Steelers had the lead but with second left the Raiders stole the game and defeated the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Bruce Gradkowski the Right Man

The Raiders have waffled in obscurity with Jamarcus Russell under center but since Bruce Gradkowski has taken over he’s led the team to victories.

Two weeks ago Gradkowski led the Raiders to a come from behind victory over the Bengals in Oakland. This week Gradkowski beat the Steelers on the road with over 300 yards passing and three touchdown passes.

This performance just goes to show that a the Raiders have been in serious need of a quarterback that can keep the team in the game and make a crucial drive to win a game.

Gradkowski will be the starting quarterback to finish out the season and for my money, he should at least be the starter to begin next year as well. No doubt Gradkowski has at least earned his way into being a quality backup quarterback in the NFL for years to come.

Steelers Lose Again

The Steelers may have just cost themselves a playoff bid as they have now dropped their last three games in a row. Two of those loses have come against the Chiefs and Raiders.

Pittsburgh offense didn’t play that bad but their defense just couldn’t seem to stop the Raiders in the fourth quarter.

Look for the Steelers to try and rebound next week against the Browns. If they can win that game then maybe they can put a run together to get into the post season.
