Texans- Dolphins: Matt Schaub Leads Team to Win | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

The Texans and Dolphins played in a must win game for both teams if they had any hopes of making it to the playoffs this year. In the end, the Dolphins made a solid come back but the Texans were able to hold onto the lead and win.

Matt Schaub Has Strong Game

Texans’ quarterback Matt Schaub started out hot right out of the gates as he threw for over 240 yards passing and two touchdown passes in the first half of the game.

Andre Johnson had another strong game as he caught Schaub’s first touchdown pass and finished the game with five receptions for 71 yards and the score.

Not only did the Texans have another strong game through the air, but they also received help on the ground from rookie Arian Foster. Foster was a disappointment last week as he was in fantasy football lineups against the Rams and didn’t produce.

This week Foster had 97 yards rushing and a nice 17-yard touchdown run. Look for Foster to continue to see a decent amount of carries next week against the Patriots. However, he may not be a great fantasy option if the Patriots get off to a hot start and the Texans are force to throw in the second half.

Chad Henne Continues to Shine

The Dolphins second year quarterback Chad Henne had another strong game with 322 yards passing and a touchdown pass. True, most of these numbers came in the second half when the team was down 27 to nothing but at least it shows the Dolphins can come back with a passing game.

Look for Henne to be the teams starting quarterback next year as he is now ready to be the starter on the team full time.

This young quarterback to be a sleeper waiver wire pick next year if Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams should have health issues and the team needs to throw in order to win.
