Titans- Dolphins: Chris Johnson Closer to 2,000 | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Miami Dolphins v Tennessee Titans

The Titans pulled away with another victory this weekend in overtime against the Dolphins. Now, the Dolphins are knocked out of the playoff hunt as the Titans continue to have a strong second half of the season.

Chris Johnson Keeps Rollin’

The Titans star running back Chris Johnson posted another 104 yards rushing this week against the Dolphins to give him 1,730 rushing yards on the season. If Johnson can accumulate 270 yards rushing against the Chargers and Seahawks he will reach 2,000 yard rushing for the season.

While Johnson still has a good chance to make it to his goal, he didn’t help fantasy football owners with a touchdown score(s) like he did last week.

Still, this was a great effort from Johnson has he not only had 104 yards rushing but also posted 55 yards receiving as well.

No doubt Johnson will be the No. 1 pick in just about every fantasy football draft next year.

Dolphins Lose Close Game

To the Dolphins credit they battled back and took this game to overtime and had a chance to win. Unfortunately, Chad Henne threw an interception in overtime and the Titans kicked a field goal to win the game.

Ricky Williams continued to put up solid stats as he ran for 80 yards and had a touchdown score.

Beyond their solid play, the Dolphins are now likely out of the playoff hunt but should still have a productive game next week against the Texans next week.
