Browns- Jaguars: Jerome Harrison Plays Well Again | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Jacksonville Jaguars v Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns finished the season winning their final four games as the team now closes the year out with a five and eleven record.

Jerome Harrison Making a Case

Young running back Jerome Harrison has made a strong case to be the Browns starting tail back heading into next year. In the final month of the fantasy football season Harrison blew up and has run just as good as Chris Johnson of the Titans.

In this contest, Harrison ran the football 33 times for 127 yards and a touchdown score. This was an impressive statline when you consider that the Jaguars were trying to stop the running game as the Browns starting quarterback Derek Anderson only attempted eleven passes.

Raiders vs. Browns

We should findout in the next week if Eric Mangini will keep is job or if the team will go in another direction.

Hopefully, Harrison stays as the top man on this team as he clearly has the talent to help fantasy football owners.

MJD Disappoints Again

If you were hoping for a big game for Maurice Jones-Drew this weekend, you were definitely disappointed. Drew didn’t play the Browns well last year, and today he only had just over 80 yards rushing in the game.

For my money, I would have to say that Adrian Peterson is still a better fantasy football running back than Drew. Sure Peterson didn’t have a big day this week either, but I just trust Peterson to be more productive most weeks throughout a fantasy season.

Too many times in Drew’s career we have seen him not get to job done against opponents that we believe he should exploit.

That being said Drew should still be a hands down top three pick in all fantasy drafts coming into next season. Chris Johnson and All Day may be better runners (in my opinion) but MJD is still an explosive stud.

Expect the Jaguars offensive line to be stronger next year as their left and right tackles won’t be rookies.
