Cowboys- Eagles: Flex Jones Blasts Through Eagles | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Eagles vs. Cowboys

It looks like the Cowboys are ready to finally live up to their talent and potential as they blew away the Eagles and shut them out. This marked the second week in a row that the Cowboys blanked a team as they held the Redskins to zero points last week in Washington.

Look Out NFC

The Cowboys have now won the Eastern Division and will host the Eagles again next week in Dallas. It looks like the Cowboys can lay their issues in December and finishing season to bed as they won their final three games this season.

Now, the Cowboys need to show everyone they are ready to not only win a playoff game but go deep into the playoffs.

Eagles vs. Cowboys

Two players that will need to continue their strong play, in order to do that, are Tony Romo and Felix Jones.

Jones and Marion Barber have been on fire of late, but it’s been Jones’s big play making that is putting the knockout blow on opponents. In this game Jones put the game away as he went for a 49-yard touchdown run that put Dallas up 24 to nothing.

Look for this team to play very good football in the playoffs as I fully expect them to mop the floor with the Eagles next week.

Eagles Need More Running

I’ve been saying all year that the Eagles are very one-dimensional as they rely on the passing game and especially the deep ball to win games. In the playoffs, you run into teams that have good secondaries and have the ability to slow a deep pass.

Both times these two teams have meet this year the Cowboys have shut the Eagles deep ball down, and I expect that to continue next week.

If the Eagles have a chance to win this coming weekend, they will need to run the football and play better defense against the running game and screen passes.
