Falcons- Buccaneers: Jason Snelling Runs Well | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
For the first time in the Atlanta Falcons franchise history, the team now has back to back winning seasons. With this win, the Falcons won’t be heading to the playoffs, but they can keep their heads up and know they still have a good team.
Buccaneers Progressing
The Buccaneers didn’t win this game, but they did win their two contests heading into this week. Not only that but they also played the Falcons tough for most of the game.
Look for rookie quarterback Josh Freeman to take another step in his progression this offseason as he looks like a talented young player.
Beyond that, the Buccaneers could lose top receiver Antonio Bryant in free agency this year as they only signed him to a one year contract last offseason.
No Turner, No Problems
The Falcons really didn’t have their stud running game Michael Turner for most of the second half of the season. This will not sit well with fantasy football owners that had Turner as the Falcons’ coaching staff kept rushing him back into the lineup before he was healthy.
If Turner should have health issues again next year then look for this team to use Jason Snelling as a backup.
In this game Snelling ran the football 25 times for a total for 147 yards on the ground. This was a good game for Snelling as he helped his team win a competitive road game.
