Titans- Seahawks: Chris Johnson Ends Year With 2,006 | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings
Not only did the Titans finish their season with an eight and eight record but running back Chris Johnson rushed for over 2,000 yards on the year and broke Marshall Faulk’s all purpose single season yardage record.
Chris Johnson Can’t Be Stopped
The Seahawks tried to stop Johnson and stop him from running over 2,000 yards this year but in the end Johnson was too much. In the end, Johnson ran the football 36 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
Look for Johnson to be the top pick in just about every fantasy football league in the world next year as he is by far the most valuable player coming into next season.
I also believe the Titans will be a stronger team early in the season with Vince Young at quarterback. That means that this team should have value players outside of Johnson coming into next year.
Seahawks Need A Lot Of Help
One player I would love to see continue to get work in this teams offense is running back Justin Forsett. This young running back just seems to make good things happen every time he touches the football and should continue to help this team next year.
Expect the team to release Julius Jones in the offseason and pickup a strong running back to handle the load in between the tackles.
Other than that this team need a new offensive line and some new pieces on the defensive side of the football. That usually means this team will not be a playoff team again next year.
Look for players like T.J. Houshmandzadeh and others to see their fantasy football rankings drop coming into next year.
