End Of The Road For Torry Holt? | 2010 Fantasy Football Outlook

Houston Texans v Jacksonville Jaguars

It appears the Jacksonville Jaguars have informed receiver Torry Holt and tackle Tre Thomas that they will be released next week. With this news, and the disappointing production from Holt in 2009 one has to question if Holt’s career is over.

Last year Holt only totaled 51 receptions for 722 yards and zero touchdowns. Not only were Holt’s numbers bad but all three of those area’s were career lows for the one time great St. Louis Rams receiver.

By the fourth week of the season, it was clear to see that Mike Sims-Walker was the Jaguars new No.1 receiver and that Holt was worth releasing from all fantasy football teams.

Now, it will be interesting if any teams take a look at the aging veteran, or if he will fade into the sun set like Marvin Harrison did last offseason.
