Baltimore Ravens: Derrick Mason Back Again

Ravens' Mason interferes with Packers Woodson in Green Bay, Wisconsin

With the singing of Donte’ Stallworth and a trade for Anquan Boldin it didn’t look like the Ravens were a lock to sign Derrick Mason again. However, now less than a week after netting Boldin the Ravens have, in fact, signed their former No.1 receiver.

While Mason will be a good player for this offense, I’m not sure if he will start opposite Boldin. If he does then it’s time to say (if it wasn’t before this offseason) Mark Clayton is a bust and will probably fade out of this offense.

Either way Joe Flacco is primed to have his best year as an NFL quarterback as he now heads into his third year. Flacco is a very gifted player, and it’s time to say that he is worth your consideration as a backup fantasy player.

Look for Boldin as the one true receiver with fantasy value in this offensive passing attack as the other receivers should all be helpful players towards Flacco’s stats.
