CB Dunta Robinson Headed To Falcons | 2010 NFL Free Agency
To play in the NFC South with Drew Brees in your division, you had best have a good secondary to help slow down their super star offense. The Atlanta Falcons failed to provide a strong secondary (28th in the league) and lost both contests they played against their division foe.
With this in mind it is no surprise that the Falcons have reportedly agreed to terms with the top corner back in the free agent market as they have nabbed up Texans former starter Dunta Robinson. Not only is Robinson the top corner in free agency, you could make a case that he was the second most valuable free agent in this years’ class.
With Robinson, the Falcons have a much better chance of at least making a wild card spot like they did two years ago when quarterback Matt Ryan was a rookie. Expect Robinson to be a key producer for this team if they have any hopes of playing deep into January.
