Cincinnati Bengals: WR Antonio Bryant Signs

Mar 10th, 2010 | By Sean Douglas | Category: AFC North, Cincinnati Bengals, NFC South, NFL, NFL Free Agency, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

ANTONIO BRYANT

The Bengals have been in great need of a productive No.2 receiver since Laveranues Coles failed to perform last season. Now the Bengals have their man and of course in Bengal fashion it is a player with a troubled past.

Former Cowboy, Brown, 49er and Buccaneer Antonio Bryant is now a Bengal and should be around for a few years with his new four year, 28 million dollar deal. Bryant has lots of talent and in 2008, we saw him go to work as he helped fantasy owners to the playoffs and championships with his strong play.

As far as his fantasy value goes it will probably depend on how healthy Carson Palmer is and if the Bengals decide to play a run first approach.

Look for Bryant to provide some big plays for this offense but probably not give fantasy owners’ consistency. This makes Bryant a decent late round pick and a good bye week fill in for 2010.
