DE Kyle Vanden Bosch Signs With Lions | 2010 NFL Free Agency
In an already busy first day of free agency the Detroit Lions have made their second note worthy move. After signing Nate Burleson earlier, now they have agreed to terms with former Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch.
The deal is reportedly a four year, 26 million dollar deal that will give Bosch a guaranteed 10 million in the first year.
Bosch has ties to the Lions head coach Jim Schwartz as the coach was the Titans defensive coordinator before accepting the Lions head position. While Bosch hasn’t been ultra productive overĀ the past few years but he was a pro bowler last season. His high motor and leadership skills will come in handy for a defense that needs what he can bring.
For the Titans, they are continuing to lose big name veterans from their defense and one has to wonder if they can play at a top twelve overall defensive level for awhile.
