LB Karlos Dansby Goes To Dolphins | 2010 NFL Free Agency
Karlos Dansby had a great career in Arizona, and he will probably always be remembered as the linebacker that recovered Aaron Rodgers kick ball and returned it for the overtime win in the playoffs. While the Cardinals have lost some key names in the past 24 hours, Danby could be the most important one of all.
If it wasn’t for Julius Peppers entering the free agency, Dansby would have been the number one free agent on the market. Understanding this and it’s no surprise why the Miami Dolphins have agreed to pay him 43 million (22 guaranteed) over five years.
Dansby should be an instant impact player that Joey Porter failed to be in his final season with the Dolphins. While the former Cardinal has never had huge sack numbers, he is one of the more accountable players to have in a defense.
Now, the Dolphins have clearly upgraded their defense and the Cardinals are even more likely to be headed for a season of figuring out how to win with the pieces they have left.
