2010 NFL Draft Picks: Dallas Cowboys Selections – Results
Throughout the three days of the NFL draft, we will be updating this page for the Dallas Cowboys every night to give you analysis for the picks they took. On Thursday NFL teams will only select players in the first round of the draft. On Friday, they will all select their second and third round picks.
Saturday each team will finish of its draft by selecting players through rounds four to seven. Enjoy the draft and come back here later to see our take on players selected for the Dallas Cowboys.
Before The Draft: Hopefully, the Cowboys will add another offensive tackle now that they have parted ways with Adams. Beyond that this team needs to add more defense.
First Round
24. Dallas Cowboys: WR Dez Bryant – With Roy Williams being such a flop the Cowboys needed another great talent at receiver. Bryant fits the bill and will make for a great fit for Tony Romo.
Second Round
55. (Trade) Cowboys Select: ILB Sean Lee- Lee gives the Cowboys more depth at linebacker and as we have seen with the Ravens, Patriots and Steelers, you need depth at linebacker in this system.
Rounds Three – Seven
Round 4, Pick 28 (126) Akwasi Owusu-Ansah CB
Round 6, Pick 10 (179)Sam Young OT
Round 6, Pick 27 (196) Jamar Wall CB
Round 7, Pick 27 (234) Sean Lissemore DT
