2010 NFL Draft Picks: San Diego Chargers Selections – Results

2010 NFL Combine - Day Two

Throughout the three days of the NFL draft, we will be updating this page for the San Diego Chargers every night to give you analysis for the picks they took. On Thursday NFL teams will only select players in the first round of the draft. On Friday, they will all select their second and third round picks.

Saturday each team will finish of its draft by selecting players through rounds four to seven. Enjoy the draft and come back here later to see our take on players selected for the San Diego Chargers.

Before The Draft: Don’t be surprised if the Chargers select a running back in the first round with LT gone and Darren Sproles hanging in limbo. This team needs a nose tackle and more help on the offensive line wouldn’t hurt. Still, they need a runner to go with this dynamic passing attack.

12. San Diego Chargers: RB Ryan Mathews: Fantasy football owners watchout as Ryan Mathews is the next feature running back for their franchise. Mathews is a great pick for the Chargers as they traded up to the Dolphins pick to get him.

Round 4, Pick 12 (110) Darrell Stuckey FS

Round 5, Pick 15 (146) Cam Thomas DT

Round 5, Pick 37 (168) Jonathan Crompton QB

Round 7, Pick 28 (235) Dedrick Epps TE
