2010 NFL Draft Picks: St. Louis Rams Selections – Results
Throughout the three days of the NFL draft, we will be updating this page for the St. Louis Rams every night to give you analysis for the picks they took. On Thursday NFL teams will only select players in the first round of the draft. On Friday, they will all select their second and third round picks. Saturday each team will finish of its draft by selecting players through rounds four to seven. Enjoy the draft and come back here later to see our take on players selected for the St. Louis Rams.
Before The Draft: A.J. Feely isn’t a future quarterback and the Rams have no one else worth having at that position. It’s time to select a quarterback and get this offense going. After that a wide receiver wouldn’t hurt. Focus on defense next year. First Pick Overall Sam Bradford
1. Rams Select: QB Sam Bradford - The Rams got the player they needed as they have no legit quarterback and now they have a player that can lead this team. Hopefully they can add a young receiver with one of their next picks.
This move should help Donnie Avery and Steven Jackson but Bradford will need his offensive line to play well to keep him on the field.
Second Round
33. Rams Select: OT Rodger Saffold – While it would have been nice to see the Rams trade down for more picks, it makes sense to add a lineman for Bradford and Jackson. What does this say about the Rams former first round pick tackles of the past?
