DE Alex Brown Signs With New Orleans Saints
The Chicago Bears parted ways with long time defensive end Alex Brown after he became expendable because of the signing of Julius Peppers. It didn’t take long for Brown to find a new team as the New Orleans Saints locked him up to a two year contract for six million.
Last season Brown had a good year for the Bears with 47 tackles, six sacks and was reliable for the run. Brown should make for an upgrade for the defensive line, but it is thought that the team might still add a defensive lineman at this years NFL draft.
Look for Brown to be a regular starter on the team this year as he should help the Saints’ defense as they defend their Super Bowl Title from last season.
