Fun And Gun Offense
So many times fantasy owners fall in love with certain players because they have a big preseason and the team looks great. While I usually stay away from those type of players (usually they bust) I couldn’t help over bidding for Aaron Rodgers in my auction fantasy league last season.
Not to pat myself on the back but good thing I did as my investment was well returned with a terrific fantasy season. With so many quarterbacks having good fantasy years in ’09, Rodgers is the No.1 fantasy quarterback to draft this season.
Look for the Packers to have another strong offensive season as Rodgers is one of the best deep ball throws in the game and has one of the best receiving cores. Budding star Jermichael Finley at tight end doesn’t hurt him either.
Dom Capers Was A Great Fit
I was high on the Packers’ defense coming into last season because they had great players to run the three – four defense. Add one of the best defensive coordinators to teach this system in Dom Capers and you have yourself a winning situation.
Look for the Packers to have another strong defensive year and give the Vikings everything they can handle.
