Running Backs (RB) Over Thirty Years Old – 2010 NFL Fantasy Stats

Over the years, it’s held true that NFL running backs tend to break down around the age of thirty. Some slow down before this number and some after but thirty is a number that shows fantasy owners they should be concerned.

This years’ class of runners turning thirty broke down last season as LaDainian Tomlinson and Brian Westbrook showed their age. One trend that seems to come up with running backs aging to thirty is that they are all in committees. This should tell you that NFL teams also fail to see these runners as feature players.

Still, look for some of these solid veterans to take valuable touches away from talented younger runners and help their respective teams.
