K David Akers | NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: For the second season in a row David Akers put together a great fantasy season. Both years Akers has completed 32 or more field goals and 43 plus pat’s.
Before 2008 Akers had a few down years, and I believe that was because Brian Westbrook was at the top of his game. As soon as Westbrook slowed down, Akers started playing like the top end kicker fantasy owners came to expect in his early days.
2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Both Westbrook and Donovan McNabb are gone and for most kickers that would be a problem. Thankfully, the Eagles still have a good team and Kevin Kolb will move this team up and down the field.
Look for Akers to continue his success and the offense will probably have drive stop when they get close to the red zone. This will give Akers plenty of opportunities.
– Good Offense
– Coach Trusts Him
– Not Many Chances From 50 Plus
