New England Patriots: OTA, Mini Camps – Schedule
After the NFL draft, teams crank up their rookie and OTA (organized team activities) camps in May and June to get their players prepped for the up coming 2010 season. This time of year can be often over looked by many a fantasy football owner but at this time, young stars and unknown names come out and impress their coaches to challenge for future starting jobs come September.
Below we have the New England Patriots projected OTA schedule for May and June. Come back and check in for information that we find key for the success or concern for the Patriots future success.
OTA Schedule
May 24-27, June 1-4, June 7-8, June 10-11
Even though the Patriots signed Torry Holt and have David Patten as veteran receivers their rosters spots are very much up in the air. This is in part because of the success young Brandon Tate and Taylor Price are having so far this offseason. Tate has been a good receiver in the past but for the last two years he has be plagued by a knee injury.
This injury cost him his rookie season last year but now he is in good shape and ready to make some plays. I wouldn’t be surprised if Holt doesn’t make it to week one with the Patriots.
