2009 Fantasy Year In Review: It took Brett Favre to retire a couple of times and have a shoulder surgery last offseason but in the end he went back inside the NFL football lines and played for the Vikings.

Not only did Favre play, but he had one of his better seasons of his career as he posted 33 touchdowns and over 4,200 yards passing. Farve hadn’t reached those mile stones since around 1998 so to see him have that kind of year was a shock to say the least.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Maybe Favre will only end up with one Super Bowl Championship when he finally retires for good but his career has been an amazing ride.

From never missing starts to continually making no name receivers house hold names, this gunslinger has done it all. I wouldn’t expect Favre to reach the numbers he did a year ago, but he should get back to close to 4,000 yards passing and just under 30 touchdowns.

That makes Favre a top ten fantasy quarterback this year on draft day.
