2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Steve Smith suffered through a horrible stretch through most of the season with Jake Delhomme as his quarterback. For whatever reason, Coach John Fox continues to be loyal to his veterans even when they are failing to get the job done.
As soon as Matt Moore took over after Delhomme suffered an injury, Smith’s fantasy value moved back to its usual production. At the end of the year Smith was a solid fantasy receiver once again as he scored a touchdown in all three of his final games played.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Look for Smith to have a nice bounce back season with Moore under center. Smith’s physical tools were definitely not the problem last year as he was more than explosive with Moore throwing the football.
A return to eight plus touchdowns and over 1,200 yards receiving should be an easy task for this one time tip five fantasy stud receiver.
June 23rd, Update: Smith fractured the same arm he broke in December playing flag football. We still have Smith as a top twenty fantasy option as he should be ready come week one. However this is a concern fantasy owners will have to keep in mind on draft day.
