2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Carnell “Cadillac” Williams not only salvage a career that was thought to be done in 2009, but he was the Buccaneers starter and played all sixteen games. This was the first time in Williams five year career that he had actually played an entire season.

For the year Williams had seven total touchdowns and there is hope in the future that he can be a helpful player to fantasy owners.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Williams won’t be the first running back off your draft board, but he will be selected in every fantasy football draft this year. The Buccaneers are still going to use Williams as their starting running back and that means he should get continued opportunities to produce fantasy points.

Last year I thought the Buccaneers were going to use a three headed monster in the ground game with Derrick Ward and Earnest Graham pitching in. For the season, the Buccaneers underused Ward and Graham was virtually nonexistent.

Coming into this year it is clear that Ward will be the sole backup for Williams but he is projected to see more touches in the offense. This makes sense as he ran for over 1,000 yards just two years ago as a backup in New York.

Don’t look for Williams as a player you want starting for your team every week but he does make for a decent bye week fill in and an emergency runner when another player is a late scratch on your team.
