It’s all about the price being right when you select a player for your IDP fantasy football team and what production you expect back for the area you selected them. The players in this busts sheet are here because I feel they won’t play up to the capabilities some fantasy owners will take them as.

Below I have a few of the names above and reasons why I believe they won’t produce as they normally would in past season. Also feel free to listen to the audio podcast on this page for other players on this list.

Elvis Dumervil – While Elvis did have a fine season last year I don’t believe he will make it back to his seventeen sacks overall. Just the season before Dumervil had only five sacks as the Broncos defensive end. For Big Play fantasy leagues, you will need Dumervil to produce lots of sacks and some fumbles as well to be a valuable IDP option.

Look for maybe around ten sacks this season as NFL teams won’t be surprised from seeing him rush the passer from a linebacker position.

Kyle Vanden Bosch – Bosch should be better than he was a year ago with the Titans, but it seems fellow IDP fantasy owners love to take this guy a little early. Bosch, for my money, is like many defensive ends as he can be inconsistent in his sack production and when he’s not hot he will leave you hanging.

DeAngelo “Fall” Hall: This one is probably more bad discipline on my part than anything else as I just hate Hall. The guy is so cocky and isn’t as good as his ego would lead you to think he is. Poor tackling and a lack of true spirited “team first” play, just makes me like him even less.

Someone in your league will probably draft Hall for their IDP squad because of his name but don’t be that guy.
