As we get ready for another fantasy football season it’s time to take a look at our sleepers for 2010. We have our sleepers broken down into each position for standard league play. Last season we had players like Ray Rice and Cedric Benson on our list of sleepers to watch out for.

Both of those players were worth starting on your fantasy squad as a flex play option to start the season and some of the names above will be that way as well. Others will be worth drafting but may not be worth starting to begin the season.

Finally you will notice that we have a section that has the word deep listed and those player below that section are late round picks at best on draft day. Most of them we wouldn’t recommend you select at your draft because they will probably not win a starting job.

In the middle of August we will put out an up date on this list to show you if any of these names have moved beyond our deep section. For further information on each sleeper we will be posting a specific sleeper section for each position and when they are done you will find a link to them below this text.

Great list. I have always been a big fan of Devin Thomas as a deep sleeper. He is the number two receiver on WAS right now, but if Santana Moss gets suspended he could move into the number one spot. He showed flashes of greatness last year and his entering his third year (pivotal development year for receivers). Finally, his team got a big upgrade at QB (McNabb), which should make for a solid year.

I agree, Thomas is a name we must keep an eye on throughout the summer and beyond.
