The fantasy football season is just around the corner as we are now in August and fantasy football drafts are well underway. Get ready for your draft(s) with our latest 10 team standard league mock draft that you see above.

Below we have a few players with notes that we found interesting in where they went in this mock draft.

WR Sidney Rice 5th Round

Sidney Rice is still going in the 5th round or so in many mock drafts but his stock could be falling as we get into later drafts. News continues to come out that Rice’s hip is a problem and that doctors told him more than one time this off-season that surgery was needed.

Rice opted to not have surgery and has a minor setback in July workouts. He should still be a go for the season but fantasy owners need to be cautious about this situation.

RB’s Michael Bush 9th round / Darren McFadden 12th

I’ve seen these two running backs flip flop in mock drafts as to which one goes first. More fantasy owners seem to be willing to give Michael Bush a rollover Darren McFadden as McFadden can’t seem to stay healthy.

While I do recommend fantasy owners go with Bush over McFadden this season, I have to admit that both make for sleeper options. Both running backs should start the season seeing a decent amount of touches. Whichever player gets hot early (they play the Rams week two) will probably go on to be the main runner. However, even if McFadden wins the job, Bush will probably make for a valuable runner later in the year as I just feel McFadden is another Ronnie Brown, with injuries waiting to happen.
