Jerome Harrison Is Moving Up Draft Boards | 2010 Fantasy Rankings
Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Harrison was supposed to be in a RBBC with rookie Montario Hardesty as training camp began. Hardesty was great in OTA’s and looked to be a nice compliment to Harrison.
On the final week of the preseason Hardesty tore his ACL and is now done for the season. While fellow youngster James Davis is projected to be Harrison’s backup, Harrison is now a stronger fantasy option.
After a great finish to the 2009 season, Harrison now has an opportunity to be the running back some fantasy owners hoped he could be coming into this season. That would be a runner that can rack up the yardage on the ground, through the air and make the occasional big play for a touchdown.
2010 Fantasy Ranking For Jerome Harrison
Assuming you haven’t drafted your fantasy squad yet, Harrison now makes for a clear top 25 fantasy back and a flex play option. Unless Harrison is ineffective and Davis comes on strong, Harrison should be the feature running back in the Browns’ offense.
This makes Harrison a nice pickup for your squad in the sixth round of a ten team fantasy football league draft.
