2010 Week Three – Wk 3 NFL Player Projections – Friday Update

NEW ORLEANS - SEPTEMBER 09: Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings looks on against the New Orleans Saints at Louisiana Superdome on September 9, 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

Early in the week I wrote on our start’em sit’em section that Percy Harvin as a bench, unless he showed he could put together good practices later in the week. That has happened and Harvin should be a good fantasy option this week against the Lions. Detroits secondary will be bad all yearlong and Brett Favre should look to his top targets often and find good success.

One player I’ve taken off our early week rankings is Broncos starting running back Knowshon Moreno. The starting tail back pulled another hamstring but this time it was to the opposite leg.

Look for Moreno to be out for a couple of weeks as it would be a good idea for the Broncos to give him time to heal. Laurence Maroney may vary well end up as the best option to use for fantasy as he will probably carry the biggest load in Moreno’s absence.
