Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Deeper we go into the fantasy football season, and new names continue to rise as fantasy start worthy options as we move forward. Because of injuries or poor play, new players continue to get chances to shine throughout the season. Below I have some names to keep in mind for this weeks’ waiver wire.
Wide Receivers
Deion Branch: Back with New England means back to life for the one time standout receiver with Tom Brady. The two veterans didn’t lose a beat from years past as Brady found Branch all day against the Ravens in his first action back with the team. Brady never wanted Branch to leave the team back in 2006 and was upset when the Patriots didn’t keep him around.
Look for Branch to be a productive weekly fantasy option as long as he can stay healthy.
Patrick Crayton: The Cowboys let Crayton go this summer as it was clear Dez Bryant was ready to make an impact. Crayton moved on to the Chargers and with Legedu Naanee out with an injury, Crayton had a nice game. I would expect Crayton to continue his success because Naanee hasn’t been productive since week one and Antonio Gates is going to be slowed by his injury.
On The Rise
Deon Butler: Maybe Deon Butler isn’t worth starting right away, but he could end up being Matt Hasselbeck’s big play receiver moving forward. With Deion Branch gone, Butler will have more time on the field and is at least worth stashing on your squad.
Danario Alexander: Everyone and their mama seems to be talking about Danario Alexander after he posted a decent game with Sam Bradford last week. While I’m not sure Alexander will be a great option every week he can help teams.
