Defensive Lineman

DT Athybn Rubin: If you’re in a league that has a spot in the lineup for the defensive tackle position, Athybn Rubin may have been off the waiver wire weeks ago. I talked about the Browns’ lineman awhile back but with Cleveland playing good football of late, Rubin is worth considering as a starter for tackle heavy leagues, even if you start a general defensive lineman.

For big play leagues he is still best served as a defensive tackle only but take a look and see if you can grab him for depth.

Pat Angerer: The Colts’ rookie middle linebacker Pat Angerer is getting a chance to start of late because Gary Brackett has been sidelined with an injury. Angerer has been playing at a productive level recently and should only continue to get better with time. As long as this young linebacker is starting, he is worth a look for your squad.

Mario Haggan: The Broncos took the Chiefs to the wood shed and with such a big lead early Kansas City was forced to throw the football often. This led to Haggan posting multi sacks, and I don’t expect him to have big production in this area going forward. Still, Haggan could be a valuable player to stash as the Broncos may be gearing up for a strong second half of the season.

Defensive Backs

CB – S Craig Dahl: Depending on the league you’re in, Rams defensive back Craig Dahl may be listed as a corner back or safety. His value is best served at corner back as he is racking up a bunch of tackles lately. Dahl is worth inserting into your lineup right away if you need help in the backfield.
