Quarterbacks

Start

Jay Cutler @ Lions: The Bears are on top in the NFC Northern Division and Jay Culter is hot after his four touchdown performance against the Eagles. Look for Cutler to stay hot against the Lions as he loves to put the numbers up against this group.

Matt Cassel vs Broncos: Kyle Orton proved that he can dominate against the Chiefs banged up secondary a few weeks ago. Look for the Broncos to score early and often as Matt Cassel will throw to keep up. Cassel threw for almost 500 yards against this team in Denver, and he has the hottest receiver in football.

Bench

Ben Roethlisberger @ Ravens: Big Ben played through a leg injury last week against the Bills and is expected to play in a huge division game. Still, the Steelers will have their struggles in Baltimore as the Ravens are playing some good football. Look to other options like Jay Cutler or even Matt Cassel for production.

Running Backs

Start

Darren McFadden @ Chargers: The Chargers’ defense is on fire after dominating against Peyton Manning and the Colts. While the Raiders should struggle overall, I do believe Darren McFadden is worth using as a flex play. The Raiders did a decent job on the ground without McFadden as they beat the Chargers early in the season, so look for McFadden to help your squad.

Bench

LaDainian Tomlinson @ Patriots: The old man had a hot start to the season but of late he’s been quiet. This is partly because of Shonn Greene’s expanded role as the Jets look to ride their young tailback for the majority of the load.

Wide Receivers

Start

Ben Obomanu vs Panthers: With Mike Williams out due to injury, Matt Hasselbeck is leaning on Ben Obomanu for big play production. Look for the talented young receiver to have another solid game as he’s been productive each of the past three weeks.

Chad Ochocinco vs Saints: Maybe star football players shouldn’t do friends a favor by helping them get on their respective team. Donovan McNabb helped Michael Vick and the next season McNabb was gone. Chad Ochocinco brought in Terrell Owens and has watched his numbers go down the drain.

This week Ochocinco should have a respectable game as the Bengals will have opportunities to make plays in the secondary.

Bench

Deion Branch vs Jets: The veteran receiver had a big game on Thanksgiving as the Lions secondary forgot how to tackle. Don’t expect a strong game from Branch this week as his play has been up and down this season.
